Business Intelligence
Money in and out, what is coming up, and a short daily Brief, from your own confirmed records.
Business Intelligence is the first plugin, and the one most businesses start with. It works for any business, because it only uses what every business has: bills, credits, the figures your sales reports state, bank transactions and dates. It replaces the old built-in Pulse and Brief.
What it shows
- Spent this month and Sales this month, from the 1st to today, each against the same days last month. A part month is never compared with a whole one.
- The Brief: a few plain sentences each morning about where the month stands and what to pay next. Every figure in it is checked against your records before you see it. If a figure cannot be checked, or no AI model is set up, you get the records as a plain list instead.
- Coming up: bills falling due, scheduled payments such as rent, and (for people who may see people) birthdays, in the next 14 days.
- Its own page, Business overview: money in and out for the last twelve months as a chart and a table, with how many bills each month holds.
Missing is not zero. A month with no bills shows a dash, not $0.00. Sales come from the daily sales reports you send in; until there are some, Sales shows a dash.
Settings
- Report figure that counts as money in: the sales figure your reports state (usually net sales).
- Days ahead to show in Coming up, and remind this many days before a bill is due.
- When to write the daily brief. You can also press Write the brief now on the Plugins screen.
What it asks for
To read your dated records, what they say, how they connect, and people (for birthdays, shown only to members allowed to see people); to use the AI model within a daily budget; to post notices in the app; and to show cards on Start and its own page. See how approving works.
