Asking Savy
Savy answers plain questions about your restaurant, using only your own confirmed records.
Press the blue Savy button at the bottom right of any page, or open Savy from the menu, type a question and press Ask.
Savy is OPSAVOR's assistant; Ask Savy is the action. Check the restaurant and period in your question, then open the records behind the answer. These are Foundation beta instructions; the public demo uses fictional records.
You may also see a menu at the top of the Savy drawer that switches from Questions about the records to a skill taught by a plugin, such as Build a plugin. Plugins can also give Savy more to answer from, such as the Business Intelligence figures.
Good questions to start with
- How were sales last week?
- Which vendor did we spend the most with this month?
- Did any invoice price go up recently?
- What data is missing for last week?
What to expect
- Answers come only from your own records. Savy does not guess from the internet, and it does not know about a document nobody has confirmed.
- It lists its sources under the answer, so you can check the records behind a figure.
- It says when it cannot tell. If the data is not there, you get a plain "not in yet", never an invented number.
- Tell it how it did. Every answer has a helpful and not helpful button, with an optional note. This is how it gets better for your restaurant.
It cannot confirm invoices, change settings, send orders or spend money. It can only tell you what is in your records.

If an answer does not match the restaurant, period or evidence, check the source and use not helpful to flag it. Do not treat a missing number as a good result. For the wider product direction, see the planned sales-to-prep example.
